No Little Super Girls

When our triplets were a year old, my husband and I decided to look at some baby Halloween costumes and dress them up. We thought it would make a really cute picture to send out with our Christmas cards. I knew that the kids were certainly not ready for Halloween at their age, but I did not think it would hurt to dress them up for a few pictures. My mother would be amused anyways.
I put a lot of thought into what would look cute and I thought that we should look into getting them some matching Disney costumes. I thought that Savannah and Samara could be dressed up as princesses and that Samuel could be Price Charming. I was imagining it in my mind and I knew it would be adorable.
Unfortunately, my husband had other plans. Had had stopped by the department store after work and purchased all three of the kids a Superman costume. I tried to reason with him that we could not dress the girls as Superman, but he insisted that they had to match. I dropped it for the moment, but I knew I was not dressing my girls up as a man, whether he was a superhero or not.
I ended up buying them each a jungle animal costume and we had their pictures taken with a jungle background. They turned out great and in the compromise, I told my husband he could have three little Supermans at home as often as he wanted, provided he never left the house with them.
