Even though the economy is the pits right now, there’s one business that’s practically recession-proof, and that’s the home health care business. Anyone who owns a home health care agency right now is probably getting slammed with requests for service that can’t be filled because a great many of the agencies that provide these services can’t get all of the staff that they need. It’s even hard to find the trainers home health care agencies need to train their new hires.

That’s why products such as caregiver DVDs and books, and intensive, fast-paced caregiver education are in such great demand right now. Ask anyone who’s running an agency that provides home health care for the elderly or disabled and they’ll tell you that they couldn’t run their business without a good, solid, professional training program. Part of the problem is the sometimes-high turnover in the home health field. It’s not that the jobs in this field are bad, but they are exhausting, and sometimes people leave because they get burned out. Another reason why home health agencies need good training so badly is simply because there is so much need for services. Once you acquire the skills needed to work in a home health care agency, you will probably never have to worry about staying employed.

My parents and I are flying down to Orlando to check out the University of Central Florida.  I want to find out more about their computer science program.  I emailed the head of the department and we are going to meet for about a half an hour to talk about the program.  Then, my parents and I will be going on a campus tour.  I’m pretty excited.  I grew up near Pittsburgh, so going to college in Florida will be a pretty huge change.  The only reason that my mom isn’t completely losing her mind is because her sister lives in Orlando. 

I also checked into car rentals in Orlando.  My parents and I want to be able to drive around and check out the campus and the city.  My dad already told my mom that she’s not driving.  I was kind of relieved.  I was not looking forward to repeating the Las Vegas rental car incident. 

I hope that I like the faculty and the campus.  I would love to go to college in Florida but I have to make the choice based on the program, not where the college is located.  I’m going to do all that I can to find a good school in a warmer climate.  I think that I could use a break from the winters in western Pennsylvania!

I have wanted to move to California and sell san diego real estate for as long as I can remember. I want to do either that or else I would be interested in getting involved in something like the very popular and much in demand at all times of the year business of working with vacation rentals san diego. People are always vacationing in San Diego of course, because it is such a beautiful place with such a mild and predictable climate.

Even if people are not vacationing in San Diego for the whole time, there are still a ton of people that pass through that could certainly be potential buyers if I am able to reel them in with my mad real estate skills. For example, cruise passengers, who obviously have money to burn and an interest in nice places, if I could set up a way to lure them in and get some business that way, I think that would be a really good idea and give my business a boost. You just have to be creative in life. Who knows what I will do for sure, but at least for today, these are some of the ideas that I have swirling around my head.

Many people have spent so many years using mini twinkle lights that they are not sure how to properly hang icicle lights to best utilize their intended style.
